GIVING

Thank you for your interest in supporting St. Thomas School.

St. Thomas School, like almost all independent schools, depends upon the generosity of our community to sustain and advance the mission of the school.  The school’s mission is the ultimate goal and inspiration for our leaders, volunteers, and professional staff.  All fund-raising activities fulfill the goals and initiatives of the Strategic Plan.  This is an exciting time in the history of STS as we embark on new capital projects that will help maintain our tradition of excellence.

There are many ways parents, grandparents, alumni, parents of alumni, and friends can take an active role in fostering the school’s mission and ensuring the best possible educational environment for STS students and faculty:

Fund raising is set forth and defined by the Board of Trustees and the Board’s Development Committee.  The Development Committee is charged with supporting and promoting the overall fund-raising efforts at St. Thomas School.  Many fund-raising activities at the school are staffed in part by volunteers.  Because staff are responsible for nurturing long-term relationships to benefit the school, volunteer fund-raising activities must be coordinated through the Director of Development.
