The 7th-grade students have been collaborating with the nonprofit Blue Jeans Go Green for our service-learning project. Blue Jeans Go Green is a nonprofit organization created by Cotton Inc. to reduce denim waste.

Often families ask me if Chapel is appropriate for their young children. The answer is a resounding “Yes!” There is a whole lot right and developmentally appropriate about ELC Chapel.

Our classroom teachers also work to establish strong relationships and celebrate each individual learner's unique qualities. Creating a sense of belonging is vital to helping all learners to feel safe and respected for who they are and what they bring to the group.

The middle school years are equal parts exciting, overwhelming and challenging for students, and it's important that they receive the right support during these transitional years. Recent research indicates that a pre-k – 8 school structure could be the best environment for middle schoolers.
