Dear St. Thomas School Community,

I hope this message finds you well. As we continue our search for the next head of school, I am pleased to share an update on our progress and the upcoming steps in the process.

Search Progress

After diligently screening numerous applications and conducting thorough assessments over the last several months, our search partner, DRG Talent, recently presented a slate of candidates to the search committee. I’m delighted to report that from this presentation the search committee has selected six candidates to move forward as semifinalists. Next week, we will conduct virtual interviews with these candidates to further evaluate their suitability for the head of school position.

Finalist Selection

Following the initial interviews, the search committee will carefully deliberate and select a group of finalists. These finalists will then spend a day at St. Thomas School sometime between March 11-19.

Community Engagement

During the finalists' visits, we will provide opportunities for parents, guardians, faculty, staff, and board members to meet and hear from each candidate in person. Your feedback is invaluable to us in this process. Therefore, following each candidate's visit, you will receive a survey to share your thoughts and impressions with the search committee. Please note that the survey will only be open for 24 hours following each candidate's visit.

Stay Informed

We will announce specific days and times for the finalists' visits as soon as they are scheduled. Please monitor STS News and the HOS Search webpage in the coming weeks, where we will share more information as it becomes available.
