St. Thomas School teachers Hannah Salia and Tracy Asplen were recently published in the Summer issue of SchoolArts magazine. Their article, "Multiple Fusions," details many of the wonderful student projects from their co-taught "Art and Photography in the Digital Age" Master Class.
This twelve-week long curriculum for Middle School students explored the intersection between art and technology. "In each project," writes Salia and Asplen, "the learning objectives were the same: to design and create a finished artwork that used both artistic and digital media with technical and aesthetic skill in visually communicating ideas."
The complete article including samples of Middle School students' projects can be found in the Summer issue of SchoolArts magazine.
